I am 49 years old and have lived in the Tasman region all my life. I am married to Gail and we have three sons, Sean works locally, Liam is on his OE, and Cameron is in year twelve at college.
After leaving school I travelled and worked overseas before returning and working in the forest industry and running our farm in Eves Valley. I am proud to be part of our regions primary industries that are such a key to our economy, lifestyle, and landscape.
As a family we all enjoy the lifestyle our region has to offer. From the unrivaled access to rivers, lakes and beaches to the huge diversity of local food, arts and activities that are available right round our district.
I have always been involved in sport, for over twenty years coaching junior rugby and cricket as well as being a volunteer administrator at club and regional level.
Alongside my commitment to sport has been many years serving on other local committees including the Pinegrove Trust and the Wakefield Health Centre Trust providing a range of services to the community.
I am committed to this regions future and maintaining it as one of the best places in the world to live work and play.
